How does botox injection works?

Botox blocks signals from nerves to the muscle. The injected muscle can no longer contract which causes the wrinkles to relax & soften.

It is also used for other treatments on the face as well. Botox can also be use to treat excessive sweating, once it is injected it turns off the sweat glands on the area

In year 2002 Botox injection got its US FDA approval to treat moderate to severe wrinkles on face, while on year 2004 the US FDA approved to treat severe axillary hyperhidrosis
